Death is part of the cycle of Asha but mortals refuse to accept their fate and constantly seek to defy it. Servants of the Death Goddess are ordered to hunt down the living and to upkeep the cycle of Death. Are you such a devotee? Will you harvest the living!?

Play Style[edit source]

Necropolis is the perfect faction for players who enjoy an attrition gameplay. This faction relies on sapping down your enemy, with constant creature resurrection and poison.

Sacrifice your weaker units to block strong enemy creatures while eating them away with your poison. Use your resurrection cards to bring back more creatures to overrun the battlefield.

A meaningful way to describe early Necropolis decks would be: the rising tide will overwhelm all.

History[edit source]

In the year 569, the Necromancers are a very young faction and they have yet to carve their place on Ashan. Sensing the need for untold powers, some of them form a pact with a darker force. Necromancers from the city of Nar-Heresh experiment on new ways to reorder the world to their own image.

Breakdown[edit source]

Most of the Faction's forces are based on Undeads, Liches, Vampires and the Death Goddess' servants: the deadly Namtarus.

  • Fortunes: Recalling spells, fortunes and creatures from the graveyard
